Being that this is an online course, are students able to communicate with an instructor?
Yes, students can communicate with the instructor to ask questions, set up one on ones, get career advice, etc. Submit your questions to abneyremote@outlook.com
Are on-site or virtual courses available?
Currently, AbneyRemote only offers an online course. Please stay tuned for workshops, boot camps, virtual and live classroom dates, and registration.
Are there any required prerequisite courses before taking the Certified Medical Coder Training course?
No, there are no required prerequisite courses, but it’s recommended students new to medical coding take an Anatomy and Medical Terminology course prior to taking the Certified Medical Coder Training course.
As an online student, is there a timeframe that I must complete the course?
The Certified Medical Coder Training course is designed to be completed in 12-16 weeks, but we understand that life happens so you will have access to this course for 18 months.
